Alessandro Del Piero, at the end of the match against the Red Bulls, felt he should underline the positive aspect of the day: «We would like to thanks the supporters for the splendid welcome. The backdrop of the fans was splendid. It’s a pity that we did not manage to give them a better show and the satisfaction they deserved».
With regards to the match the captain spent very few words: «Jet lag and exhaustion effected our performance».
