It was easy for Alberto Zaccheroni to find the reason behind the defeat against Inter: the sending-off of Sissoko, at the end of the first half for two yellow cards. The red card forced the bianoneri to change the initial plans.
The initial plans were described in this manner by the Juve coach: «We prepared the match in a manner so not to give Inter any points of reference and by basing our game on ball possession. They did better then us in this championship, but tonight I did not see such a difference between the two teams and until we were with 11 players we did not seem inferior. I am sorry about Sissoko’s sending-off especially since I don’t think the first yellow card was fair. Unfortunately, this defeat is another bad blow especially for the table».
