Luigi Del Neri is satisfied with the victory of his team against Bari. It was not an easy match which the bianconeri won thanks to the great intensity they fielded. This is confirmed by the Juve coach: «We knew that Bari are very good on the counterattack. We were clever when it came to ball possession, we played with great intensity notwithstanding the match on Thursday in the Coppa Italia. Besides, we responded well to the goal conceded showing great solidity».
Made to note Del Piero’s goal and his excellent performance: «He played a match of great physical power and of quality. From players like him, Buffon and Chiellini, it is normal to expect important performances, stimuli and experience but we must not forget Sissoko’s performance».
Finally a comment about Buffon and Storari, with the latter also applauded by the supporters present at the stadium: «I spoke to Marco. There is great respect for him but if Buffon is well I don’t think he can play instead of him. Storari understood this. Luckily they have a great relationship. We coaches have to always stimulate our players but we must then face reality. I think that Storari can play with any team in Italy, even here, but in front of him there is the number one».
